Women’s Health Physical Therapy
Back pain is very common during pregnancy. Our therapists will instruct you in proper stretching and stabilization exercises to help decrease the stress on the lower back that occurs as your body changes throughout pregnancy. We use hands-on-treatment to decrease pain and ease the symptoms of back pain.
Our evaluation addresses range of motion, muscle strength, muscle flexibility, posture, and abdominal integrity. Treatment may include heat, soft tissue mobilization, abdominal exercise, core excercies, muscle energy techniques, and much more.

During your first visit, our provider will complete an initial evaluation and perform a selection of diagnostic tests to review your strength, flexibility, movement, stiffness, balance, physical posture, etc. If you have any questions regarding your problem, please do not hesitate to ask. Our providers will answer any questions you may have and will make sure you are completely comfortable with your treatment.
